Construction method of fused AZS or fused corundum bricks for oxygen glass melting furnace

1. Introduction

The structure of the all-oxygen glass melting furnace is similar with the unit kiln. It adopts the all-oxygen combustion technology. The mild kiln pressure is stable, which is conducive to the melting and clarification of the glass, and reduces the bubbles, ash bubbles and streaks in the glass body. It can be said that it is the second revolution of the glass furnace. The oxy-fuel glass production line has realized energy saving and consumption reduction, reduced pollution, and significantly improved the glass quality. Its technology meets the requirements of my country's energy saving and environmental protection. Looking forward to the future, the application of oxy-fuel technology in glass furnaces has a bright future.

Due to the improvement of the production process, the construction technology will inevitably be different. Traditionally, silica bricks are mainly used for the construction of fused AZS or fused corundum bricks in all-oxygen glass melting furnaces. After using all-oxygen combustion, the kiln exhausts flue gas. Among the components, not only the H2O and CO2 content increases, but the alkali vapor concentration also increases sharply, which intensifies the corrosion of refractory materials. For this reason, the use of fused AZS or fused corundum bricks for the breast wall and large slabs reduces the damage The erosion of refractory materials improves the quality of glass and improves the age of the kiln. However, there are two major difficulties in the use of fused AZS or fused corundum bricks for the masonry of the all-oxygen glass furnace. The weight of the ring is about 10 tons, which causes inconvenience in construction. Second, special attention must be paid to the quality of its assembly, and the size requirements are also very strict.

This article aims to solve the above-mentioned shortcomings and provide a construction method of fused AZS or fused corundum bricks in an all-oxygen glass furnace. This method is convenient for construction, and the assembly quality can be guaranteed. 

2. Implementation method

In order to solve the above problems, we will now introduce specific methods, which include:

Step one, set up a movable arch; see Figure 1, the movable arch includes an arched tyre frame 1, the top of the arched tyre frame is screwed into the adjusting bolt and covered with the arc-shaped plate, and placed in two Bolts 4 are connected together on the mobile frame 5. The bottom support of the mobile frame is supported by a jack 6 and is connected with a directional wheel 7.

Step 2: Special steel arch tires are used for masonry. Each brick part of the steel arch tires has 4 adjusting screws. The screws are fixed according to the size of single and double rows. Through adjustment, the arch is up to the assembly height and meets the requirements of uniform stitching;

Step 3: According to the pre-assembly drawing, transport the number of each ring brick from both sides to the door brick in sequence with hydraulic trolley to the kiln, and arrange them neatly on both sides for easy hoisting;

Step 4. When installing, tie it firmly with nylon straps, then lift it with a crane on the top of the kiln, starting with the arch-foot bricks on both sides, and adjust the distance between the arch-foot bricks and the ballast beams;

Step 5: Install the bricks behind the arch feet in the order of left and right. Due to the weight of the single unit, the bricks that are on the wrong stage or inconsistent positions can be hit with a large wooden hammer or moved with a crowbar;

Step 6. When installing to the last three blocks of the door closing brick, measure the distance between the upper and lower surfaces of the bricks. If there is an error, adjust it in time to ensure that the door closing brick can be put down smoothly; or the closing position is 1mm smaller, which is used when closing the door. The wooden hammer knocks on the door;

Step seven, the design of the big chrysanthemum generally consists of every five or seven rings, and each big chute is designed with expansion joints. After one section is built, the size of the entire chrysanthemum should be checked and adjusted in time to prevent the cumulative error from exceeding the design. At the same time, record the chord length and arch height of each chord and compare it with the data provided by the pre-assembly. If there is a problem, it will be corrected in time; the construction will be completed.

 

3. Matters needing attention

In the construction method of fused AZS or fused corundum bricks in the all-oxygen glass furnace, there are several items that need to be paid attention to:

1. Said step 7 also includes: the first ring of the big arches must be drawn or the theodolite must be used to control its longitudinal flatness so that the sides are on the same level to lay the foundation for the masonry of the lower ring. After the completion of the second ring of arches, Move the steel frame and the arch tire to the lower ring position, while ensuring that the arch tire and the finished chuck should overlap each other by about 100mm to ensure the curvature and tightness of the lower ring.

2. The movable arch frame includes an arch-shaped tire frame, the top of the arch-shaped tire frame is screwed into the adjusting bolts and covers the arc-shaped plate, and is placed on two movable frames connected together by bolts. The bottom of the movable frame The support is supported by a jack and connected with a directional wheel.

The invention is a brand-new construction method designed for a new production process. The movable arch frame has a large bearing capacity and can be reused. The screws on the surface of the arch tire can be adjusted up and down to accurately adjust the position of the bricks. Therefore, this technology is used in construction. Efficiency, labor saving, and construction safety have been greatly improved, while ensuring the quality of construction.
